Walk Tracker Pro ("the App") is developed by Gil Finkelstein. Your privacy is important to us. This policy explains what information the App accesses, how it is used, and how it is stored.

Walk Tracker Pro is built with a privacy-first approach. All your data — routes, steps, and walk history — stays entirely on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to external servers.

Information the App Accesses

The App may access the following information solely to provide its core features:

Location (GPS)

Used to track your walking route in real time and display it on the map. Location data is processed and stored locally on your device. It is never sent to any server or third party. The App uses location while in use and may use background location to continue tracking when the app is not in the foreground.

Motion & Fitness (Pedometer)

Used to count your steps and calculate distance during a walk. Motion data is processed entirely on-device and is not shared externally.

What We Do Not Collect

Walk Tracker Pro does not collect, store, or share any of the following:

Personal information such as your name, email, or phone number. There is no account creation or login required to use the App.

Your GPS routes, step counts, walk history, or any other session data are never transmitted off your device.

Usage analytics, tracking data, or behavioral information of any kind.

We do not use any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services.

Data Storage

All data — including your walk routes, session stats, and walk history — is stored exclusively on your device. If you delete the App, all associated data is permanently removed.

Location Usage Details

Walk Tracker Pro uses your device's GPS to trace your route on the map during active tracking sessions. The App may request "While In Use" or "Always" location permission to ensure your walk is tracked accurately, including when the App is in the background.

Your location data is used only to display your route and calculate distance and speed. It is stored locally on your device and is never uploaded, shared, or accessed remotely.

Third-Party Services

Walk Tracker Pro uses Apple Maps to display your walking route. Apple Maps is provided by Apple Inc. and is subject to Apple's own privacy policy. No personal data is shared with Apple Maps by the App beyond what is required to render the map view.

No other third-party services are used. No data is shared with advertisers, analytics providers, or any other external parties.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
